Training; with the national organization WFGA, completing 1 year advanced horticultural training year (Wrags 2006), spending a year working in a contemporary garden designed by Christopher Bradley Hole. 3 years maintaining a 2 acre private garden. Distinction at Berkshire College of Agriculture in Garden design with Plantsmanship, and training in Garden Design at Sparsholt Agricultural College 1997 – 1999. Winner of National Award as Chris Beardshaw scholar 2011 -12 producing three show gardens, culminating in a show garden at Chelsea Flower Show in 2012.

In 2019 I achieved full ‘Registered’ membership of the Society of Garden Designers, following rigorous assessment.

Formally a secondary teacher of Art and Design, B.A. (Hons) PGCE, but craved the outdoors and greater personal creativity.
