Mediterranean inspired

A lovely relaxed garden with lots of colour and character! The design took inspiration from the many Mediterranean pots already present and capitalised on the south facing aspect. Sweeping paths and borders distracted from the boundary fences, which were also planted with an array of energising plants. The new pond became a much loved feature of the client for his prize Koi Carp.

A more traditional design atmosphere was created for the front garden and driveway, removing the lawn altogether in favour of ground cover planting and shrubs. Evergreen trees including Magnolia grandiflora lined the front boundaries to give greater privacy.
