Developers had left a token area of patio that had no character. We sourced the same stone and added character by cutting into the existing patio and extending paths out from it, as well as sheltering the sunny seating area with brick raised beds, to grow herbs for the kitchen near-by. Cottage garden plants, such as poppies and Lupins created a soft abundant style of planting. Massed foliage plants softened the fenced boundaries.
