Country Life

The brief was to give this large county garden a complete overhaul, to bring it in line with the newly refurbished traditional home. The scope included designing a smart raised bed vegetable garden, within picket style fencing to deter the rabbits. This area included a mini orchard, greenhouse and compost bins.

A pale limestone was used in a traditional random pattern to connect areas of the house. This was divided by a beautiful wooden trellis screen and rose arch, which created a second secluded seating area for outdoor sofa and fire pit. I restrained palette of repeating plants softened all the hard landscaping, including yew cones and balls. The circular driveway was also remodelled, with new edging, buff coloured gravel and electric gates.
